- On April 2, 2005 the Versailles
I Community Association held a block party for the
Versailles I neighbors. The party was originally to be
held on the new cul de sac at the north end of Jasmine
Creek Court. However, due to some gusty winds that day,
it was decided that the "block party" would be moved
indoors to the Sand Piper room at the CA central campus.
The party was organized by Jeanne Simonini, Eileen Kensy
& Virginia Stough. Everyone brought a "heavy hors
d'oeuvre" to share. So, while it ended up being a
"blockless" block party, it, nonetheless, was a marvelous
event. Thanks to the organizers as well as everyone who
participated.
